Dear Friends In Christ,

Greetings in name of the risen Lord! It is our prayer that all of you have a blessed Reformation week.

This last week we lost one of our members who was 39 years old to leukemia. She was diagnosed with the illness only four weeks ago and it was a very aggressive kind of leukemia that doesn´t respond to treatment.

During her last weeks on the earth we were able to comfort Esperanza with the word and sacrament. Her confidence in God was very inspiring to all who ministered to her. We can give thanks that she will dwell in the house of the Lord forever!

Our theological studies program is under way and this semester we are offering Doctrine I, Law and Gospel, and Ministry of the church. We are pleased with the number of people studying and it is our hope that all complete the courses successfully.

Elections in Venezuela are going to take place on the 8th of November and the political situation in Venezuela is very tense at the present time. We pray to God that there will be no attempts to overthrow the government.

Anna continues to grow and is progressing rapidly in her therapy. Her first birthday was on the 10th of October and we had a birthday party for her at the church. We thank you for the prayers that you have offered for her!

God's richest blessings to all of you!

Soli Deo Gloria,
Dan,Kathy, and Anna Conrad
