Kantor Richard Resch of Concordia Theological Seminary in Fort Wayne announced at the class on Theology and Church Music in Austin that

has promised to publish a leather-bound pocket sized edition of

The Lutheran Hymnal

with the same quality as the Lutheran Worship edition (except it will not have the gold leaf on the edges of the pages). This edition will sell for $15.00, if Dr. Resch can raise $10,000 dollars for the set up costs. If he raises more, the cost per book will be less. This is comparedto the $25.00 the Lutheran Worship pocketsized edition sells for. Resch has $100.00 from one of the attendees at the Austin Theology and Church Music Class.

These will make wonderful gifts for Baptism, Birthdays, Confirmations and other occasions.
