Bishop Arre Kuukauppi from the Evangelical Lutheran Church of Ingria in Russia, Archbishop Janis Vanags from the Evangelical Lutheran Church of Latvia, Bishop Jonas Kalvanas of the Lutheran Church in Lithuania, and Archbishop Jaan Kiivit and Bishop Einar Soone, both of the Lutheran Church in Estonia, will be in attendance. While they are in Fort Wayne they will be meeting with the Rev. Dr. Alvin Barry, President of the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod.
"This will be an enriching and refreshing experience for the bishops and for CTS," said Dr. Dean O. Wenthe, President of CTS. "We have been very impressed with the students who attend our seminary all of whom represent these churches. We hope this gathering will provide an opportunity for the bishops to assess ways in which CTS could be more helpful to their efforts."
