August 16, 1998. Parish of St. Paul Lutheran in Albion, Michigan. The Divine Service was presided jointly by LCMS minister Rev. James A. Waddell and Russian-Ingrian minister Rev. Oleg Sevastyanov. This was the first cooperative Divine Service on American soil since the LCMS and Russian-Ingrian Lutheran Church declared Altar and Pulpit fellowship this summer.
