PART OF THE PLAN

Joseph, don't be afraid,
Because your wife's with Child
Great with Babe,
He's not your son,
Not any man's,
He's the Holy One
And you're part of the plan

Part of the plan, part of the plan,
You'll call His name Jesus,
The Savior or all man,
Part of the plan, part of the plan,
His name will be Jesus
And you're part of the plan

Joseph, God knows your thoughts,
You want to end it quietly, for you
Love her lots,
But Joseph,
You are her man,
Take her as your own
Cuz that's part of the plan

Part of the plan, part of the plan,
You'll call His name Jesus,
The Savior of all man,
Part of the plan, part of the plan,
His name will be Jesus
And you're part of the plan

Christians, don't be afraid,
The angels have declared Him,
Told you where He's laid,
In a manger,
With rags for clothes,
Here's the Perfect Stranger
God wants all to know

And that's
Part of the plan, part of the plan,
His name is called Jesus,
The Savior of all man,
Part of the plan, part of the plan,
He's for you, your Jesus,
And that's part of the plan

He died and rose in victory,
Now He gives His Blood
And His True Body,
He baptized you
In Word you stand,
He is your soul's Food
And that's part of the plan Part of the plan, part of the plan,
His name is called Jesus,
The Savior of all man,
Part of the plan, part of the plan,
He's for you, He's Jesus,
And that's part of the plan

IMMANUEL IN SNOW

Surely He was born
To save us all from woe
Born on Christmas morn
Immanuel in snow

Surely He has borne
Our sickness and sin
On a cross forlorn
Who could look at Him!

A crown of thorns, INRI
Hanged above His head
Messiah gave a mournful cry
Then He soon was dead

This is the Child
The angels told
To shepherds long ago
This is the Child
In manger cold
Immanuel in snow

He grew up and was baptized
Anointed to bear Sin
He died to make all sinners wise,
Make them wise to Him

To say He came for nothing,
To say He died for nought,
Denies that He's the Offspring
Through whom God sinners bought Yes, sinners rejoice in Him,
His song in you let flow,
For He's saved you from all sin,
Saved you from death's blow

This is the Child
The angels told
To shepherds long ago,
This is the Child
In manger cold,
Immanuel in snow

So have a merry Christmas
With gladness to and fro
He is our God-With-Us,
Immanuel in snow

WISE MEN

Wise men came,
Came from afar,
Bringing gold and myrrh,
Wise men came,
After the star,
With frankincense to share

The Baby Jesus
In a house
Welcomed these wise men,
Herod said they
Should go south,
Down to Bethlehem

Wise men came,
To the home,
Laying out their gifts,
Joe and Mary
Welcomed them
After their long trip

Wise men come
In every shape
And every size today,
Those who have
The Christ are wise,
Wise men to the Way

The Way is Christ
Who makes men wise
To His saving cross,
Wise men hear
The voice of Christ
And count all else loss

God does baptize
To make men wise,
Wise to death of sin,
His Holy Meal
Keeps them wise,
Keeps them wise in Him

Wise men, come,
Receive the Christ
Who is God's Great Gift,
He is Heaven's Sacrifice
He's the down soul's Lift

He's the Lift
For sinful ones,
He's the Lift
For Adam's sons,
He's the Gift
Of God's Own Son
Through Water and through Word

He's the Gift
Of Salvation,
He's the Gift
Of "IT IS DONE!!!"
He's the Gift
Of Vict'ry won,
He is Christ the LORD

DESPISED OF MEN

Myriam and Aaron
Opposed Moses to his face
For taking a black woman,
They deemed her a disgrace

Joseph took Mary
Though she was great with Child
Most despised her, thought her very
Wrong and her defiled

Jesus took sinners
Ate and drank with them,
Declared that they were winners
Though despised of men

In a despised stable,
A ragged Babe was born,
Yet shepherds there were able
To praise Him and not scorn

On a cross they mocked Him
Told Him, "Save your skin!"
But His love had blocked Him
>From not despising them

In a tomb they laid Him
A wretch in royal den
But the Third Day God made Him
Alive for despised men

Mary spoke to Jesus,
Said, "Sir where did you put...?"
The body because He was
Not there. What was afoot?

Jesus said to Mary
"Mary" and she knew
She was very very
Glad God's Word was true.

He said, "Do not touch Me,
'Til I come to my own."
He ascended soon to heaven
To prepare our home

Kwsis gathers Christians
In His House to hear
His Word of remission
And drink His Blood so dear

He calls us His own brothers,
Though despised of men,
Daughters, sisters, mothers,
Despised men judged in Him
