With womens' ordination we prove we know our times;
we show our toleration, since scripture's past its prime,
we know of God's words blessings, the good parts serve us well,
the hard stuff always scares us, we know it just won't sell.
Our scripture's inspiration we still with words affirm;
our sweet interpretations may make our brothers squirm,
like Sodom and Gommora our practices are just,
the gay who wants a wedding can have one if he must.
And we on earth have union with everyone in sight;
with all who love abortion and treat our bishops right,
forget the Book of Concord, our doctrines can diverge,
We don't need norms or standards, of these we now are purged.
