A few photos of the operators who operate and/or have operated at the NX5M station.

Mike, N5XJ
Mike has been contesting for almost 20 years and has logged many hours of operating time here. Typically a member of the team in multi-single, multi-two and multi-multi operations Mike occasionally spends a weekend here doing something in the single-op single-band category. He is also always here to help with tower and antenna projects. He is one of the key players in our contesting efforts.
Colin,
KU5B
The youngest of the contesting crew Colin has been active here since 2003. He has become an ever-present fixture here during multi-op contests as well as several single-op single-band efforts. Always willing to arrive early to help me get things set up and ready to go. He also brings some pretty good brownies and cookies. A real asset to the operating team.
Terry, AB5K
Joined the team back in 2005 and has operated several multi-op contests over the past few years. Terry has been instrumental in helping with upgrades to the 20 and 40m towers and antennas.
Jack,
N5DUW
Jack joined the team back in 1999. Although his line of work does not allow him to make each and every contest it is always real good news when he informs us that he will be here.
Dennis,
NT5TU (UA0OFF)
Here is our relocated Russian. Dennis does not have much opportunity to join our team but when he does (or can) he puts in some very valuable operating time.
Chuck,
NO5W
First joined the crew in 2007 for the CQWW WPX CW Contest. Typically operates from his own station but hope to have him as a more regular member of the operating team in the future. Chuck prefers CW contesting over SSB.
John,
KH6SH
For CQWW WPX CW in 2007 John was able to join us for a multi-multi operation. John was in San Antonio for two months doing re-certification in the F-16 and the timing was just right that he was able to make the 3 hour drive to join us. Fine operator and fine individual. Too bad he had to head back to KH6.

Dave, K5GN
Dave operated several WPX SSB multi-multi contests with us as well as a couple of years in the ARRL 10 Meter Contest. He is now living somewhere in the middle east. Dave always brought a great deal of will-power to our operations. Even in his off-time you would many times find him in front of another radio listening for anything that might could be worked.
Mike, K5NZ
Although Mike is usually active from his own station he does on occasion join the NX5M team. Sometimes, even without notice. He has been know to have operated several hours at his own station and then make a 1 hour drive just to come hang out and visit.

Walter, KK5LO
Walter has been a member of the WPX multi-multi team in the past. Back in 2005 he retired and relocated to Hondo, Texas from Houston.

Bruce, N1LN
Bruce joined us for CQWW WPX SSB in 2004 and 2005. He has now relocated to North Carolina where you may hear him on the air using the callsign NC4KW.
Bill, K5GA
Operated here only once back in 2005. The look of a trapped animal on his face is the result of a cw operator having to do ssb.
Lance, KB5ZFO
Lance began contest operating in the early 1990's. Normally operates from his home station as time permits but has been an operator with the NX5M team several times over the years.
Dale,
KG5U
Member of CQWW WPX SSB multi-multi team. You can usually find Dale working contests from him home station in the qrp category.
Rachel,
N5NMX
Daughter of NX5M. N5NMX was very active in the late 1980's through the mid 1990's. This is the callsign that used to belong to NX5M. She was licensed at age 10. Some day this will all belong to her.
Ed,
KS5V
One of the CQWW WPX SSB team in 2006.
Roy, KR5W
Although not a regular operator Roy does make it into the shack a couple of times per year to help us keep a station running.

Ed, N1UR
Ed operated here from 1999-2002 both as a single-op low power entrant as well as being a player on a couple of CQWW DX and ARRL 10m Contest teams. Ed lives in Vermont and is a force to be reckoned with in the low power category. Ed is also contest active from places like 9M6 and XX9.

Simon, M0CLW
Simon was able to make the trip from England to experience a domestic contest here in the states during the August 2008 NAQP SSB Contest. He had some fine rates operating 20m SSB.
