William was born 1706 in Newton or Liberton, Midlothion, Scotland and died 1763 in Halifax County, Virginia.  He married Elizabeth, daughter of John Robertson and Marion Ewart, in Liberton, Midlothion, Scotland on June 15, 1722.

Robert Walters married Johannah MacBee

Robert was born September 20, 1731 in South Leith, Midlothion, Scotland and died October 8, 1794 in Franklin County, Georgia.  He married Johannah, daughter of William MacBee and Susannah Vardry in 1749.  In the book "Virginia's Colonial Soldiers" by Lloyd Backstrup, Robert is shown to have enlisted January 7, 1754, in the 7th Company of the Virginia Regiment under Capt. Joshua Lewis.  He was described as being 22 years old, 5'7" in height, reddish complexion with slightly red hair.

Moses Walters married Elizabeth Cauthon

Moses was born in 1770.  He married Elizabeth, daughter of William Cauthon of Franklin County, Georgia.  Moses left Mississippi in December 1835 with seven grown sons and descended on what was then the Department of Nacogdoches, later known as Cherokee County.  His plantation in Mississippi was where the City of Jackson is now located.  He received grant #27 for 1 league and 1 labor of land.  The town of Sacul is on the Moses Walter's Survey.  There are sixteen head rights in Texas in the Walters name.  The main head right is in Cherokee County.

Andrew Chislum Walters married Mary Angelina (Polly) Armstrong

Andrew Chislum (AC) was born January 15, 1805 in Franklin County, Georgia and died February 18, 1886 in Trickham, Coleman County, Texas.  He married Polly in 1828 in Mississippi.  AC came from Mississippi to Cherokee County, Texas in 1836 and later moved to Coleman County.  The Republic of Texas Pension Applications show that AC enlisted in Capt. Bryant's Company of Col. Cleveland's Regiment in March of 1836.  In July, he joined Capt. Collin's Company.  He was at the battle of Sabine and the fight at Ft. Houston.
