CURRENT NEWS

Triple J Ranch was the high bidder for a breeding to the Elite Hanoverian stallion Walk on Top in the Oldenburg/ISR stallion service auction. Inca is foal with an expected due date of April 2003. This foal is available in utero for the unbelievable price of $4,000. Walk on Top is a grand prix jumper and was the reserve champion of his 100 day test with a score of 10 on his walk and 9's on temperament, trot, jumping and ability to work. Inca is a wonderful dressage horse who also possesses her sire's jumping ability. This foal will be chestnut and will be a wonderful prospect for either jumping or dressage.

Offered for Sale

Photo of Summer MEANT TO BE (barn name Summer), is a chestnut filly with virtually no white born 3/22/00 by IDEAL out of GRENACHE by BON JOUR. Summer is shown here at 6 1/2 months old. (I know, I REALLY need to get some more recent pictures!) Summer is very correct with straight legs and nice shoulder and hip angles. She is just under 16hh at the age of two and we expect her to mature around 16.2hh. She has very lovely gaits with nice suspension. Summer has spectacular bloodlines (Ideal/Inschallah/Zeus/Furioso II/Bonjour/Grundstein/Diamont) and is a great prospect for both dressage and jumping. Summer's favorite pasttime is cantering around the pasture doing many flying changes. This is one of the sweetest and most well-behaved youngsters I have ever been around. Summer has had a saddle and bridle on and nothing has fazed her. I have been on her 6 or 7 times and walked and halted a little bit. This one should be a piece of cake to start under saddle! We hate to part with this very special filly but with a foal on the way for next spring, we have too many horses. Summer is available to a good home only for $9,000.

Our Mares

Photo of Tomboy TOMBOY, pictured to the right, is a 1996 15.3hh chestnut mare by Galant out of a TB mare. (That's Summer in the background getting a drink.) Tom is registered with the Belgian Warmblood society. Tom had a foal when she was 3 and was just started under saddle during the summer of 2001. She is doing well - look for her in the show ring soon!

INCA, pictured at the top of the page and below,is a stunning 15.3hh chestnut mare by IDEAL out of MESHKA, a TB mare now owned by Karen Kuester of Austin, Texas. Inca received a Premium Award at her foal inspection with an overall score of 8.5. She won the Young Horse Championship at the 1998 BACH Sporthorse Breed Show judged by Dona Singlehurst. In 2001, Inca won 11 out of the 12 classes she competed in at First Level and ended the year with 11 blue ribbons and 1 red ribbon. Inca won Second Place in the First Level Open Division (although her rider was an amateur) of the International Sporthorse Registry USDF All-Breed award. Inca has three lovely gaits and tremendous presence. Inca is too special to let go and is in foal to the Elite Hanoverian stallion Walk on Top for an April 2003 foal.

Photo of Wylie

Our Foal-Sitter

Wylie, pictured to the right, is a 8-year-old, 9.2hh Shetland pony gelding. He is a chestnut and white pinto and about the cutest thing you ever saw! (Everyone falls in love with him and there is a waiting list to take him if I can't keep him for some reason.) Wylie had an unfortunate accident around Thanksgiving of 1999 that caused the left side of his face to be paralyzed. Because he could not blink his eye, we had to put ointment in it every 4-6 hours to keep it moist. The vets were unsure if he would ever fully recover and said it would be 6-12 months before we would know. Four months later, Wylie had regained full movement of his ear and was able to blink. We are thrilled that he recovered so quickly.
